The Community Development Department oversees planning as well as building inspection functions through administration of the Village's zoning, subdivision and building codes. Review of certified survey maps, subdivision plats, planned developments, site/design reviews, variance requests, conditional use permits, and plan review of residential homes is accomplished through the administration of these codes. Plans affecting the physical development of our community, i.e., Comprehensive Plan, Neighborhood Plans, Outdoor Recreation Plan, and Downtown Master Plan are developed through this Department.
Our offices are located in the Municipal Center, 5915 Milwaukee Street, McFarland, WI.
Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (7:30 a.m. by appointment).
Building Inspector hours: 7:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 12:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
