PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING ON
Proposed Natural Landscaping Ordinance
The Committee will give a short PowerPoint presentation explaining the background and purpose of the new ordinance, show examples of well maintained natural landscapes as well as landscapes that are not properly maintained, and end with a question and answer period.
AGENDA
1. Call to order.
2. Presentation on proposed Ordinance #2010-05 permitting natural landscaping.
3. Review and possible approval of draft Minutes from the regular meetings of July 29 and August 19, 2010.
4. Discussion and review of comments received at the Public Information Meeting on the proposed natural landscaping ordinance.
5. Discussion and possible recommendation to Village Board on proposed Ordinance #2010-05, permitting natural landscaping.
6. Discussion on implementation of EAB plan including Adopt a Tree Program.
7. Discussion on Adopt a Tree Program.
8. Discussion on volunteer safety training requirements.
9. Status Reports.
a. Community Forest Application (include review of the most recent draft of Stewardship Plan from Steve Holaday)
10. Report from the Parks and Recreation Committee.
11. Adjournment.
